Why the micro filtration of turbine/Hydraulic oil is needed-I

• Normally centrifuge systems are not capable to remove mechanical impurities of below 15micron from

oil, neither it can remove dissolve moisture from using oil.

• Due to presence of solid particles (Copper, Iron etc) + emulsified moisture + working heat, oxidation in oil takes place. Journal of turbine is very much sensitive to oxidation.

• Due to oxidation in oil male functioning of governing system/ hydraulic valves starts.

• Due to oxidation formation of varnish starts in oil.
